Unified Identification for Event Driven Service in User-Centric Environments

چکیده
177 Abstract—Considerations for user-centric environments are regarded as essential for the successful deployment of convergence services in BcN. Event driven service (EDS) is regarded as a typical convergence service converging different functions of multiple service providers to support user-centric environments. This paper first describes the deployment model and service scenario of EDS, a convergence service for user-centric environments in BcN. The user-centric environments stimulates the unified identifier management, namely unified identification (U-ID), to enable users to be provided convergence services without awareness of multiple providers. Then the designed structure and implementation results are given.

Unified User-Centric Context: Who, Where, When, What, How and Why
To deploy context-aware applications, there has been a steadily increasing interest in context model to efficiently represent various contexts in daily life. However, most ways of modeling context are specific to purpose of each service or give undue value to particular information, e.g. location. To loosen the coupling between contexts and services, we propose unified context that represent us...
متن کاملUser-centric Complex Event Modeling and Implementation Based on Ubiquitous Data Service
Current complex event processing systems are often implemented as standalone engines that produce business events and feed process execution environments. Event patterns are defined with rule-based languages. Logical programming and/or stream processing techniques are used to detect matchings for the patterns. However, tremendous technical efforts are required both for the pattern definition an...
متن کاملPatterns for Adaptive Service-Centric Systems
Service-centric systems are driven more and more towards self-adaptation in order to satisfy QoS in highly dynamic environments. However, the young age and immaturity of this domain, combined with the increasing size and complexity of these systems, hinder the architects from designing effectively self-adaptive systems. This paper addresses the main problems that architects face with respect to...

متن کاملNet-X: Unified Data-Centric Internet Services
Databases and networks currently have different service models. Database services are data-centric in that users typically describe the content of data and the system finds and returns matching data. However, traditional Internet services are server-centric in that users have to know the location of data (e.g., a URL) in order to retrieve it. We envision a future in which Internet services are ...
